Shawn Lai is the founder of WTT Digital and the architect of the VERDICT™ Framework — a seven-pillar methodology for getting law firms cited by AI search engines.

Before WTT Digital, Shawn spent his career as a Senior Manager in Deloitte's AI & Engineering Services practice. He led implementation programs for enterprise AI deployments across Fortune 500 clients in financial services, professional services, and healthcare. He saw firsthand how generative AI was rewiring how customers find providers — long before "GEO" became a marketing acronym.

He founded WTT Digital after a specific observation: law firms — among the largest professional-services categories by marketing spend in the US — were almost completely absent from AI-search citations. The firms had budgets. They had brands. They had decades of SEO investment. And they were being skipped over when ChatGPT or Perplexity surfaced a recommendation. The gap wasn't capability. It was that nobody was treating AI search as a discipline distinct from traditional SEO.

WTT Digital is built around that distinction. WTT Digital was founded on a single observation: law firms — among the largest professional-services categories by marketing spend in the US — were almost invisible in AI search. Generalist agencies were either ignoring the shift or bolting GEO onto traditional SEO playbooks. Neither was working.

The opportunity wasn't to be "another agency that also does AI search." It was to be the agency built around AI search, specifically for law firms, with the compliance overlay nobody else offers. That's the gap WTT Digital fills.
